It took me 4 days of negotiation… but I am delighted to have secured this magnificent colt by Brazen Beau.

I was originally outbidded and the colt was passed in 220k – not making his reserve.

He was our prime pick of the 1000 horse draft that Matt Cumani, Leonard and I had scoured through.

I eventually secured this quality colt on the final day for 150k!

We had his heart scored and his rating was the highest percentile scored. The Vet subsequently purchased 25% based on the examination!

He was a Standout!

This colt’s build and demeanour shared an uncanny resemblance to Brazen Beau!

The I Am Invincible/ Sadler’s Wells breed line is now one of the most famous and successful families in Australasia!

He was clearly the most outstanding Brazen Beau type i have ever seen.

I have not seen many colts in my time with such a natural athleticism and movement like this guy. Other great features I noted were good barrel, strong bone and beautifully angled shoulder set. A real Caulfield Guineas type of horse. We measured his windpipe. Airways is a very important characteristic for a racehorse. Average is 2.0. This guy measured 3.5!
